Poetry:For a Past Life
Millie, our resident poet
I long for autumn with a love fonder than the finest moon,
Than the lightest, frailest tides lapping at the shore,
More than all of the stars in the night sky on a faraway forest floor,
More that most fellow passengers to the grave long for power,
And, when it comes around- only when it comes around, I shall be enthralled all over again.
- For a past life.
