As part of the Christmas festivities here at Summerhill, we challenged tutor groups to create a Christmas wreath to display in the corridor outside their respective classrooms. With every form receiving just the metal frame and some materials to attach props with as a base for their designs, we were stunned with how creative and festive the wreaths were, which really displayed outstanding house identity.  

We are so proud of our Summerhill community for investing in this competition, the results are phenomenal, and you can’t help but absorb the festive cheer as you walk down the corridors with staff and students alike touring the school during social times to see the stunning entries.  

With all that said and done, picking a winner was extremely difficult; after many deliberations it was clear that DDH’s take on the Christmas film ‘The Grinch’ had stood out that little bit more, going above and beyond in every category of our judgement criteria!
