Summerhill worked with local primary schools and a camera crew to put a video together to be shown in Global lessons this week. As a school we believe Remembrance Day is extremely important and due to the current COVID-19 situation, we wanted to give primary schools the opportunity to commemorate the fallen soldiers of Kingswinford and Wall Heath. Mr Macdonald, the headteacher from Kingswinford Academy, shared a family story about his uncle who lost his life to war. Each primary school told an important message through their work. While Dawley Brook sang, a few other primary schools produced poems about the trenches and poppies.
