Performing Arts Workshops

Children will prepare and perform a short production under the direction of our drama tutor Kerry.  Each workshop will have a different theme that children will use as the basis to create their own unique production.  The sessions will conclude with an invitation to parents/guardians to come along and watch the production.

Who is it for? Boys and girls in school Year 3 to Year 7 (inclusive)
What do I need to bring? A drink and a mid morning snack.

Week One - Workshop theme Wreck-it Ralph

Week Two - Workshop theme Jumanji

Date: Thursday 2nd August

Week Three - Worksop theme Greatest Showman

Football Fun

The sessions will be lead by FA Football Coach George who will use a game centred approach and will include activities focusing on various football skills including dribbling, passing, shooting alongside motor skills that can be transferred into other sports.

The sessions will take place outside on our all weather pitch and are suitable for all abilities.

Children should wear clothing suitable for sporting activities, trainers and shin pads.  Please note these sessions will be outside therefore sun protection may be required and a waterproof jacket incase in rains.

Steel Drum Workshop

A fabulous opportunity for children to learn how to create music using the steel drums.  No previous musical experience is needed just a desire to create the sounds of the Summer and have fun.  Parents/guardians are invited to come along on the Friday at 11.45am and listen to the group perform.

 

Who is it for? Boys and girls in school Year 5 and above
What do I need to bring? A drink and a mid morning snack.

Date: Monday 6th August to Friday 10th August
Time: 9.00am to 12.00pm
Fee for the 5 mornings £24.75
