Silver Stories is a scheme which benefits weaker readers and older people alike; when children read aloud their confidence and enthusiasm for reading is enhanced whilst for the Silver Listener, they are given the opportunity to be an integral part of the school community. We currently have a number of students who ring members of the community each week, reading a beautiful story enriching the lives of the listener and improving the reading skills of our pupils.
